For more opulence (especially for the bride or major ceremony), silk sarees with rich zari work are preferred.

Although not exclusively Kerala style, many brides pick this for the “main bridal look” alongside or instead of the kasavu.

Colours: Red, deep maroon, gold-rich bodies are common wedding styles. 

Fabric & Maintenance: heavier, might require more careful draping and caring.
